At Ramos, Ripoll & Schuster (RRS Abogados, S.C., hereinafter “RRS”), we value your trust and privacy, and therefore maintain a constant commitment to safeguarding the proper use and integrity of our Clients’ personal data.

For this reason, through this Privacy Notice (the “Notice”), we inform you that, in order to provide our services, we have collected and will continue to collect certain personal data and information for the purpose of providing you with high-quality legal services, acting in accordance with the principles of lawfulness and trust.

The purpose of this Notice is to inform you of the protocols through which we guarantee the security of any personal data and sensitive information that you may provide to us. The information contained herein is issued in accordance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on July 5, 2010; its Regulations, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on December 21, 2011; and the Privacy Notice Guidelines, published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on January 17, 2013

Your personal data has been and will continue to be collected and stored by RRS, with address at Jesús García No. 2945, Floor 2, Colonia Prados de Providencia, ZIP Code 44670, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, which shall be responsible for filing and safeguarding your personal data under the strictest protection and confidentiality standards that characterize our Firm.

Personal Data Subject to Processing

RRS may obtain personal data directly from you, either in person or through electronic means or correspondence. In some cases, RRS may also obtain such data indirectly through third parties or other sources.

The personal data that RRS may obtain and use includes: your full name, telephone number, email address, domicile, workplace, photograph, signature, voter identification information, passport and visa information, nationality, immigration status, RFC, CURP, job position, account information, marital status, credit history, union affiliation, and tax and corporate information.

Likewise, it may become necessary to collect certain sensitive information, including bank statements, information regarding your financial situation, and private information relating to your family or health situation, which shall only occur when strictly necessary for the proper provision of our services to you.

Purpose of Data Processing

The sole purpose of collecting and processing your personal data is to properly provide our services for your benefit. Your personal data is collected in order to maintain a real and complete understanding of your legal situation and to always consider all relevant elements necessary to adequately protect your interests.

Your data shall only be used in procedures strictly related to the provision of our services, allowing our Firm to properly prepare legal documents on your behalf, service proposals, legal opinions, payments, administrative filings, legal remedies and notifications. Your data will also be used to maintain direct and effective communication with you through telephone calls, emails and traditional correspondence.

Transfer of Personal Data

Pursuant to this Privacy Notice, RRS states that your data may be transferred to other offices of the Firm different from the one where such data was obtained, provided that they are part of the same Firm and operate in accordance with this Privacy Notice and our confidentiality policies.

As a general rule, your personal data shall not be transferred to any other person or entity and shall remain safeguarded within our database. However, there is a possibility that part of your data may be transferred to third parties providing accounting and/or legal services to RRS. In the event such transfer occurs, RRS shall communicate this Privacy Notice to such third parties, who must comply with its terms.

Mechanism to Access, Rectify, Cancel or Object to the Use of Your Personal Data (ARCO Rights)

At any time, you may Access, Rectify, Cancel or Object to the consent granted to RRS for the processing and use of your personal data. To do so, you must submit a written request to the following email address: [email protected]

The ARCO request must include the following information: (i) your full name; (ii) where applicable, corporate name or business name; (iii) email address; (iv) telephone number; (v) personal data with respect to which you wish to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation or objection; and (vi) the reason for your request. RRS shall have a period of fifteen business days to respond to your request.

If you have requested access to your personal data, RRS shall provide you with a simple copy of the data available to it. Such copy may be sent through electronic means or traditional correspondence within the term described above.

Changes to the Privacy Notice

Should RRS, for any reason, make any total or partial amendment or modification to this Privacy Notice, such amendment or modification shall be made through this means and notified to you via email.
