Through Decree published in the Official Gazette in July 19th, 2010, the Honorable Congress amended article 7th of the Federal Law of Consumers Protection which established:
Article 7 BIS.-?The supplier is obligated to exhibit in a visible way, the total amount of goods, products or services, offered to the consumer.
The Honorable Congress amended this article as follows:
ARTICLE 7 BIS.- The supplier is obligated to exhibit in a notorious and visible way, the total amount of goods, products or services, offered to the consumer.
This amount must include taxes, commissions, interests, assurance and any other cost, charge, expenditure or additional outlay that covers the acquisition object or the respective hiring, whatever is cash or credit.
