� Increase in minimum wages for 2010 The Board of Representatives of the National Commission of Minimum Wages agreed to increase in 4.85% the minimum wages in the three geographical areas of the country for 2010. The new minimum wages applicable from January 1st, 2010 are the following: $57.46 pesos under a daily basis for Geographical Area ?A?. This area includes Mexico City and its metropolitan area, the States of Baja California y Baja California Sur, and the cities of Acapulco, Guerrero, Ciudad Ju�rez, Chihuahua., Nogales, Sonoroa, Matamoros, Tamaulipas and Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, among others. $55.84 pesos under a daily basis for Geographical Area ?B?. This area includes cities of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Monterrey, N. L., Hermosillo, Sonora, Tampico, Tamaulipas and Poza Rica de Hidalgo, Veracruz. Finally, $54.47 pesos under a daily basis for Geographical Area ?C?. This area includes the States of Aguascalientes, Campeche, Coahuila, Colima, Chiapas, Durango, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Michoac�n, Morelos, Nayarit, Oaxaca, Puebla, Quer�taro, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potos�, Sinaloa, Tabasco, Tlaxcala, Yucat�n and Zacatecas; as well as specific counties in the States of Chihuahua, Guerrero, Jalisco, Estado de M�xico, Nuevo Le�n, Sonora, Tamaulipas y Veracruz. With respect to eh List of Professions, works and special works, to which a minimum professional wage is set, the Board of Representatives agreed to (i) redefine the definition of Radio technical Officer specialist in repairing electric machines, (ii) integrate the Construction, Carpenter and Steel construction Works in one category named Construction Profession, with the amount of minimum professional wage corresponding to Construction Workers, and (iii) delete in the List of Professions, works and special works, the special works of Office Archivist, Accountant Assistant and Laboratory Clinic Analysis Assistant, in addition to the works of Planner Operator, Operator-casting machines, stamping machines operator in metal work; operator plastic molding machines, Journal Mechanical Mechanical milling and grinding machine operator.
